La piu' remota,ma anche la piu' ricercata e sofisticata tradizione nel panorama della moda iberica è da attribuire senza dubbio a Cristobal Balenciaga.

The remotest,but even the most sophisticated tradition of Iberian fashion is,with no doubt,Cristobal Balenciaga.

Balenciaga,classe 1895,si forma inizialmente a Madrid,dove apprende le prime basi di sartoria e poi si trasferisce a Parigi dove,nel '37,fonda la sua casa di moda.

Balenciaga,class 1985,grows like tailor in Madrid and then he moves to Paris,where,in 1937,he lay the foundations of his brand.

Questo abito si riferisce alla collezione "infanta"creata nel '39 in ricordo della Principessa di Spagna e ripresi dai dipinti di Velasquez.

This dress is in memory of Spain Princess,issue from the"infanta"collection,is created in 1939 and inspired from Velasquez paints.

Questi due modelli,creati rispettivamente nel '59 e nel '67,rendono l'idea di rinnovamento che Balenciaga apporta nella sartoria,sia per quanto riguarda i tessuti-sono infatti da attribuirgli le scoperte di nuove stoffe quali il Gazar ed il Cracknyl-,quanto per la struttura ed il taglio dell'abito.

These models,respectively class of 1959 and 1967,prove the idea of renovation that Balenciaga generate on high fashion.He show us new textiles-in fact he discovers new kinds of innovative material.like Gazar and Cracknyl-and new style of dresses structures.

Nel 1997,all'eta' di soli 25 anni,fa' la sua comparsa a capo del marchio Balenciaga,Nicolas Ghesquière,che si ritirera' dalla maison dopo 15 anni,nel Novembre 2012.

In 1997 at the young age of 25,Nicolas Ghesquière was the choice to head the fashion house Balenciaga.He will retires like brand leader after 15 years,in November,on 2012. 

Ghesquière riesce,a mio avviso,a mantenere lo stile Balenciaga nelle sue creazioni ricche di ruches,volants e strutturate mediante rigidi tessuti che ci riportano alla raffia di seta del compianto Cristobal.

Ghesquière is able to maintain the Balenciaga style with his creations full of ruches,volants and made of rigid textiles that recall to the silk rafia of pitied Cristobal.

Ghesquière fa' interagire tradizione con innovativa personalizzazione del marchio,proponendo il suo tocco sartoriale e creativo nelle piu' recenti collezioni Balenciaga.

Altro capostipite e quantomeno innovativo-soprattutto in materia di tessuti-designer spagnolo,è senza dubbio Paco Rabanne.Nato nel 1934,lascio' successivamente la Spagna per Parigi,dove,nel '66 diede vita al suo marchio.
Coco Chanel gli affibbio' il nomignolo di "metallurgico della moda" proprio per la sua propensione ad usare il metallo nelle sue creazioni.Abitudine che,come vedremo,ha mantenuto nel tempo.

Another forefather and innovative-especially in textile subject-Spanish designer,is surely Paco Rabanne.He was born in 1934 and later he left Spain to move to Paris where,in 1966,he established his brand.
Coco Chanel named him like the "fashion metallurgic"for his inclination to use metal for his creations.Routine that,how we'll see,Rabanne hasn't loose.

Questo è il palese esempio di quanto Paco Rabanne sia rimasto coerente con la sua linea nel corso degli anni.

Continua la rassegna degli stilisti in base alla loro nazionalita' e questa è la volta della patria di Sua Maesta' Elisabetta II.
Ho fatto una mia personale cernita tra i piu' conosciuti designers britannici,ponendo l'attenzione su coloro che,a mio avviso,si contraddistinguono per originalita' e riconoscibilita'.
Detto questo,non posso esimermi dal ricordare Alexander McQueen,che ha mantenuto lo stile e l'unicita' del suo brand grazie al lavoro superbo intrapreso dall'eccellente Sarah Burton.

I made a personal choice between the most noted Britain designers,paying the attention on anyone of them who distinguish oneself for originality.
For this reason,i can't dispense myself to remember Alexander McQueen,who has maintained the style and uniqueness of his brand,thanks to the hard job of  superb Sarah Burton.

Sebbene non fosse semplice mantenere lo stile del design di Alexander McQueen,Sarah Burton ha onorato la sua memoria non facendoci troppo sentire la sua mancanza artistica,avvenuta nel Febbraio del 2010.

Although it wasn't simple to maintain the style of the design of Alexander McQueen,Sarah Burton has celebrated his memory,not to feeling us his lack too much.He died on february,in 2010.

 Vivienne Westwood tra gli stilisti inglesi rappresenta l'anticonformismo e la trasgressione,meritandosi cosi' l'appellativo di regina del punk-glamour.La sua prima sfilata risale al 1981.

 Stella McCartney è una stilista di cosi' tanto talento da essere riuscita a far dimenticare le pesanti origini del suo nome.La figlia del grande Paul gia' da bambina ispirava a diventare una creatrice di moda e si è fatta le ossa lavorando per molti anni nella maison Chloè,fino al raggiungimento del suo scopo di fondare un marchio tutto suo,personalizzato per la costante presa di coscienza nei riguardi dell'ambiente e dell'ecologia.

..che invece ha introdotto,a mio parere,una nuova vera innovazione nel mondo della moda,tanto da non riuscire inizialmente a farsi comprendere.In queste immagini possiamo ammirare i cossiddetti "abiti origami",
che denotano cosa si puo' ottenere piegando un tessuto in un modo non convenzionale ai soliti canoni del design.

Rei Kawakubo,successivamente,sconvolse ancor piu' le solite linee strutturali promuovendo nuovi tessuti e tagli e,agli inizi degli anni '80 fece un gran scalpore nell'affacciarsi nel mondo del fashion design.
Dimostro',con i consensi da parte del pubblico,che una nuova era stava iniziando.

Rei Kawakubo,in the '80's,subverted more and more the usually structural lines,encouraging new textiles and cuts and she made a great sensation on the world fashion design.
She proved that a new era was beginning.

 La sua donna appare spesso,come nella piu' buona delle tradizioni orientali,come una "punk Lolita",avvolta in abiti da monella che non si lascia piu' sottomettere,ma domina l'uomo.

Kawakubo's woman is often,like in the oriental traditions,a "punk Lolita",enveloped on brat dresses,who rules over men.
 

Lo stesso discorso vale anche per Yohji Yamamoto che negli anni 80 fu' noto per aver ridisegnato la silhouette femminile.

The same is for Yohji Yamamoto,a fashion Japanese designer who,in the '80's was known to have reshaped the woman silhouette.

A differenza dei suoi connazionali,Yamamoto abbandona la geometria delle linee e utilizza tessuti piu' morbidi che scivolano leggeri lungo le curve della figura.

Unlike to the other Oriental designers,Yamamoto leave the geometrical lines and use more softly textures,that slides lightly over the look curves.

Yumi Katsura è sicuramente la stilista giapponese che attualmente riesce maggiormente a stupire,sia per l'haute couture...

La creativita' stilistica di Rafael Cennamo nasce dall'incontro tra la cultura venezuelana con quella italiana.
Con l'introduzione della linea di abbigliamento per la sera,nel 2006 si è fatto notare dalle maggiori testate mondiali durante la Fashion Week newyorkese.

The Rafael Cennamo' stylistic creativity was born from the heritage of Italian and Venezuelan culture.
In 2006 he grown his fame with the introduction of his evening dress line during the New York Fashion Week,where he garnered the attention of the most important fashion magazines of the world.

Tessuti dorati a profusione che segnano la figura con morbidi drappeggi.
I leggings,spesso presenti e abbinati impeccabilmente a mini-dress,sono anch'essi caratterizzati da stampe metal in oro.

Gold textures in profusion that design the silhouette with flexible folds.
Leggings are coordinated to mini-dresses and are characterized by gold metal print.

La scelta del tessuto cambia,rimanendo pero' fedele nelle linee dell'abito molto vaporoso e sapientemente arricciato nella parte inferiore.

 The choice of the texture change,remaining coherent on the dress lines,voluminous and wisely wrinkled on the low side.

In questo caso la sera si fa' piu' classica,con un voile impreziosito da ricami,sempre rigorosamente in oro.
Le linee divengono lineari,quasi come ad accarezzare la silhouette.

In that dresses the night becomes much more classic,with voile embellished by embroideries,ever rigorously gold.The lines are linear,like in a silhouette caress.

 Compaiono anche delle improbabili,ma azzeccate sovrapposizioni contrasatanti sia per lo stile,che per la natura stessa del tessuto.Si ha come l'impressione che l'abito abbia fine,quando ad un tratto si assiste ad un'esplosione di pizzi e tulle.

There are some debatable,but inspired overlapping,that are contrasting into the style and for the texture.
We have the impression that the gown was finished,but in its final part there is an explosion of tulle and lace.

La grande innovazione stà nell'introduzione della maglieria per la sera.Sontuosi ed elaborati abiti accompagnati da piume,pizzi e ricami ed accostati ad una grossolana lavorazione della lana,a mio parere donano unicita' a questi meravigliosi capi di gusto sopraffino.

The biggest innovation is the introduction of the knitwear for the night.Gowns luxurious with plumes,laces and  embroideries are coordinated to a shoddy working of the wool and,in my opinion get distinctiveness to these amazing dresses.
